Trying to get my almost 5 month old panther to try something other than crickets. Tried to give mealworms, superworms, waxworms he wants nothing to do with them. I'll try some silkworms and hornworms but don't want to waste the money if I can't even get him to eat any other worm. He loves his crickets. Might get some roaches so I can change his diet up some. I've had him for a little over two weeks so I'm sure time will tell need some tips.

Ive hand feed some crickets he still is not going for it every time. But I tried hand feeding them and cup also putting them on a leaf doesn't work to good. But nothing he likes to hunt his crickets.

I dont think I got my guy to eat horns or supers until about that age.
He was skiddish about them for a while, so it could take some time for him to recognise it as food.

I would offer them first thing in the day, and if he doesnt take it, dont give him anything else. Just keep offering the worms that day until he takes it.
Then give him the crickets.

At that age you dont want to skip days of feeding really, but just one day shouldnt hurt.
If he refuses to take the worm at all, you could not offer anything else to eat that one day.
He should take the worm the next day, and after that be at least a little more open to them.
If he doesnt want the worm, just give him his crickets.;)
