Food timing

Had a quick question about the timing of food. As of right now, my chameleon's lights are on from 9am-9pm. Because of the shifts I work, my day starts at 1pm and goes til 4am. Since ive gotten Kronin I've been feeding him at 1 when I get up but im starting to wonder if thats not giving him enough time to eat. I know they say you're not supposed to leave crickets "overnight" but I'm curious if I should start putting them in when I get off work at 4am, that way they're there when he wakes up and he has all day to eat. Thoughts?

What you're doing now is fine, you could also put them in at night if you'd like. Really either way should work without problems.

Thanks! The main thing I was concerned with was making sure I gave him plenty of basking time after he eats. Also, I tend to feed him 8-10 crickets a day and some mornings I'll notice that he hasn't eaten half of them.
