I don't know if the vets of my region know anything about chameleons. Were you able to make the husbandry changes suggested to you? I would get her to a vet if possible.

She is not eating the insects becasue she is a wild caught chameleon and you are scraring her. Picking her up and placing her near insects will not make her eat, she needs to be comfortable to eat. I think your best choices are to either build her a screen enclsoure since i dont believe chameleon cages are readily available in Kenya. The larger the better, keep it out side in a spot that gets afew hours direct sunlight a day. Or to let her go, preferably far away from the place that feeds chameleons to snakes. If you do decide to keep her, please keep in mind you are going to have to start farming insects as she will need to be fed 3-4x a week.
She eats better now days but otherwise she was a nervous eater since I got her (7th Aug). How long has she been ignoring the food?
Coda only eats if the bugs moves, a lot.She is not eating the insects becasue she is a wild caught chameleon and you are scraring her. 1) probably notI'm about to ask the most craziest questions ever:
1) Can u make a chameleon follow ur voice?
2) Can u make a tiny jacket for ur chameleon during cold weather?
There aren't any seasons in Kenya but it is getting quite cold.
Duh! Just remembered that chameleons don’t really hear. They feel vibrations and can sense lower frequencies.1) probably not
2) no, but I’m having a good laugh picturing it.
You’ll need a good basking light to keep your cham warm. A regular incandescent lightbulb will work.

No dried shrimp lol, the food needs to be moving...do you have access to crickets or grasshoppers? Here is a pic of appropriate feeders hopefully you can find some in your area.Hmmmm... I've been thinking... My dad feeds his fish with dried sea-shrimp.
Could Harab eat that?View attachment 244242View attachment 244243
