Forum censorship at work

There I was responding to a members post asking piglet and I about silkworm breeding, I had written a novel of things I have learned that are not mentioned in the care guides or other threads I had seen! All of the sudden ZAP and up comes a warning stating Warning your originization has blocked this content. Darn they could have waited as I only had I line left and would have been finished. well it was lunch time and I almost never go for lunch and just have someone pick me up something or bring it from home and work through lunch but today was different. I got up headed for the door and on my way out said I'm taking lunch!!! I thought everyone was going to pass out with surprise. I went home ate lunch got my I pad and returned to work. My boss saw me come back in and said wow you never go anywhere for lunch. My reply was wow you never blocked me from going on the Chameleon Forum until lunch time today so now I will just take my lunch breaks and then do it on my time or my iPad!!! Big frown and I just laughed!!!! I now have my I pad and they can't stop me from getting my daily forum fix!!!!! LOL ha that will teach em!!!

Wow, I work for a school district where just about EVERYTHING is blocked, but CF is on the "safe" list. Your work is hard-core!

lol. way to stick it to the man. my job blocks everyone's access but luckily i work in the IT dept. so we have special wifi to use for surfing.

Geez we mods are getting a bad rap. I may go hide under a rock for a while. Sorry your company did that, I worked for a company that blocked sites from employees, but my job required I have access to whatever I wanted or needed. I seem to want several things........

The Censorship had nothing to do with anyone from our beloved forum!!! It was my work and what's worse is I see people looking at stuff they SHOULD not be looking at in the work place!!! So heck with them my I pad will be proudly displayed on my desk from now on hahahahahahahahahahhaha Evil grin on my face lol

The economy is in no position for people to be online instead of working, and it really gets on his nerves. So be careful surfing the web, whether it's on their computer or not, a lot of people in small companies are finding out that more and more that bosses aren't going to tolerate it much longer.

I am paid on a commission only and so it's not like I am costing them anything anyway, I would understand if I was on salary or hourly. By the way I am the first one at work everyday my team is the top producing team most of the time and we have ( my team ) the highest customer satisfaction rating in the entire company 95% of the time. I think all that should count for something BTW they do not mind the commission employees using the Internet and even give us a set amount of time per month but for some reason the have blocked this forum but I see others viewing content that is definitely not acceptable ???

hahahahahaha I just got done replying to the original breeding thread and scrolled down to find this.! Sorry if i got you in trouble man... Sucks you lost everything you were writing I would have really liked to have read it.. The story is priceless though.. If i was you I would get a George Foreman and a hammock... Everyday at lunch you could set up shop and get on your i pad haha

No worries, my job security is very good!!! If I had not been responding to your post it would have been someone else so it all good!!! I was SO PISSED as I had spent a lot of time putting my thoughts down in script and then those turkeys zapped it on the last line!!!! ..................... the dots represent words i can't use on this forum I just got to my lake house in Pickwick Tn. So now life is even better pm me tomorrow and I will give you my cell # so we can talk and it will be much easier for me to give you some added info on silks. I think I can help you avoid the MANY mistakes I made while I was learning how to care for them. I was trying to write all of my most recent mistakes and what I had learned to prevent them for you and also so piglet could see them in print in case she wanted to incorporate them into her care guide. I will do it again when I have the time and energy as the more we can share with each other the easier it will be for others. I am amazed how much info piglet was able to put into her guide and let me tell ya it takes a lot of time and effort!!!!! I know your silks come tomorrow if I remember correctly so do contact me and we will chat silk care. Lol man I love this stuff!!!!
