Found a baby snapping turtle in my small pond

Guys I have no frickin clue how the little dude got in my pond. I live on the edge of a small town near the tracks, no water anywhere near here.

Definitely, he’s the only thing in there besides some tadpoles. I’m going to go get him some bloodworms and feeder fish tomorrow. As far as I’m concerned it’s his pond, and we named him Myrtle. ?

Well, he’s safe and glad you’re giving him a nice home. I miss my turtles, but am so glad I was able to get them to a safe place where they can have natural lives.
