Little Gizmo (my 4 month old Ambanja male) arrived on Tuesday
. I saw the UPS truck pull up and I watched (in horror) as the delivery guy pulled out my baby's box and flip it right side up! He had been travelling upside down the whole time My fruit fly container was also smashed, bent and cracked. Many of the flys escaped (along with their culture goop) and were climbing all over the box. I lost most of the fruit flys. Thank goodness there's still some pupae in the goop. Needless to say, Gizmo was totally freaked out Soooo, I'm holding off taking any pictures of him for now. He is finally (today) starting to settle down. I will post pics a little later after he is calmed down. Don't want to upset him anymore than I need to. Good news is that he's eating and drinking, and his poop is healthy (no signs of dehydration, etc.). I've heard two differing opinions regarding UPS, some folks say the're okay, some don't. In my personal opinion, they SUCK!
