Fresh gutload idea...any "juicers" out there?

Simple idea. Select veggies or fruits that you would normally use in your juicer which are safe for gutloading. Drink the juice, and rather than throw away the pulp, use it for feeding crickets. The pulp retains plenty of moisture and nutrients so its just as good as the real thing. AFTERALL, don't you want to gutload yourself too???

Sample recipe:

Romaine
Carrots
Alfalfa
Apple
Kale

the apple part may throw you off, but I find when I do juicing, throwing one or two apples into my veggie blend sweetens the final juice and makes it more palatable.

or maybe:

Apple
Orange
Papaya
Mango
Blueberries
Rasberries

I have not juiced in a while but I when I do I usually use beets but I dont know if beets are a good gutload or not. You could also freeze some of the pulp in ice cube trays and continue to use it longer. the only thing with gutloads containing that many fruits is that they spoil quite fast.

You can also put some of the pulp in a food dehydrator to make a dry gutload...that will last longer

While I see no reason not to use the pulp from a juicer as "part of" your gutload, let's not forget to add fresh vegies and fruit so they get the moisture they crave.
