Hi everyone !
I have a 12month old female yemen and at the time of her first egg laying she managed to break/pull all of her claws from both front feet (whilst i was out at work) since treating them with aloe (from the plant itself) she has healed very well, only with zero front claws. Is this something she is stuck without forever ? she is quite active and very friendly coming to the front of the terrarium whenever i enter the room wanting to be handled, so it doesnt hinder or disrupt her in any way.

Any input will be greatly received

Many thanx

Congradulations on your egg Laying. I hope that you will soon be swamped with little babies.:D.....LOL

As far as your claw issue. It's kind of a wait and see deal. It will depend on whether the nail bed was totally pulled/ripped out. I have had multiple claws pulled out by the screen for my Male Jackson, and i would say about 80% have grown back.

The true hope would be that it is just worn down really far and the nail bed is still intact. You may consider treating with some profolactic antibiotics next time just in case. :p

At this point you will need to just keep an eye on it for the next month or so.
;)
Hope that helps...

Thanks

Thankyou for your quick responses. It actually happened around 6 months ago so im guessing she is clawless for good now from the responses.
