fruit flies?

Hello everyone,

I just received Wingless D. Melanogaster Fruit Fly in the mail. I bought them for my baby veiled chameleon. I thought he would like them, but turns out he started eating pinhead size crickets.
I realized that the fruit flies are way too small for him, and they can easily get out of the ventilated tank he is in. So I was wondering...are these flies gonna get any bigger? they look like small ants right now.

Thanks!!

If the fruit flies are escaping you can set a small dish of fruit baby food or apple sauce in the bottom of the cage and the flies will go to it to eat. My little Cham will go to the dish and pick off the flies as they try and eat. She gets a little fruit that way too.
