Fruits and Veggies for Jackson???

I have read many places that Veileds enjoy fruits and veggies, but I have never seen anything either way about Jacksons. My Mr. Colors is on a hunger-strike, and I am trying everything I can think of. Are fruits and veggies (and if so, which ones?) something that Jacksons would/should eat the way Veileds do?

you can try it, but they arent known for veggie/fruit munching.

I was told (havent tried it yet) that you can hang a snowpea plant for them and they will munch on it here and there. I'm in the procees of growing one for mine right now...
