Gardening for Feeders

I'm getting prepared for the vegetable garden right now, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on certain things I could grow to feed my roaches (or any feeders).

I'm also going to be raising phoenix worms this year, so I'll post my results in July in this forum. Anyone else considering raising your own phoenix worms?

I grew 'Italian Rocket' salad last year and everyone went crazy for it, but dandelions have always been a favorite among my feeders.

If there's any root vegetables people recommend, or greens, then I'd appreciate any input. I'm going to try all the 'sweet' versions of whatever I can find, like sweet carrots, sweet beets, sweet corn, etc.

I grow Dandelion, Carrot, Yam, Squash, mustard greens, red and green romaines, strawberries, raspberries, peas, marion berries, hazel nuts, pear, apple. I share all these with my feeder insects :)

Dandelion grows all year round, in most any soil - weed = cheap (it tastes better in spring than in fall or winter). I use dandelion year round for the feeders.

The mustard greens and lettuce grow quickly - I have some sprouting already. This tends to be one of the first things from the garden (besides dandelion) that the feeders get

The squash and yam and second sowing of carrots are harvested late in the year, and store awhile, so they make up a lot of the Fall diet of the feeders.
