IMHO wild caught females are the hardest to acclimate and keep. The reason is because they come in gravid and super unhealthy (because they were shipped gravid). Then you can't panacur them being gravid and many times they double clutch even though they are unhealthy. So you have to wait about 6 months to actually breed them with your sire and keep her healthy.
WC may seem like the easy way to get return on investment but they are the hardest to work with and keep healthy. I would advise against it unless you are like me, trying to make sure you have pure locales. I worked with almost nothing but WC this past year and hopefully next year I will work with my F1 babies as my breeders.
Yeah i heard that they are unhealthy and all, the eggs that they have when shipped, is it good to keep those? wont those baby's more liking to have problems? under cal.. etc
