Getting Fired Up

I have a quick question about panther "agression". My 8 month old panther never shows any sign of agression or anything when I handle him ... not that I am complaining but I am just curious if this is normal.

Thanks

yeah...u r lucky that u have a calm cham and easy to handle....what mite stimulate high colors is showing a female and a male....or try a mirror.....

yes, panthers are known to be the more freindly of the cham world, i think veileds can have some aggression, i have no experience with veiled....but i see threads all the time "veiled being aggressive?!?!" or something along those lines.

It can be depending....

on the Cham... I know people who's Chams never or rarely fire up. So it can be typical dependant upon each Cham's "character"...

My boys do not show any true signs of aggression.... my one male on occasion will open his mouth and start to but then I take my finger and touch him under the chin and he closes his moth and is fine kida like "ok, just checking" lol.... My other guy shows zero signs.... nothing.

So yes, be happy as many times with Chams that is not the case!

It could be normal. Some never show aggression, but that doesn't mean they aren't being stressed out. The ones who show only very subtle signs of stress are the hardest to read. I would still handle and interact as you would with a more agressive chameleon. Not often and in very short periods of time.
