Girl or Boy?

Shes a panther chameleon..When I bought her from the pet store they told me she was a girl and around 3 months... but shes green a lot so im not sure. someone tell me what you think!

Hard to tell from those pics. Give us a profile shot of the base of the tail, holding straight out if possible. Pet Stores are often wrong.

I'm new, but I already know to look for the nub at the back of the rear feet. nubs=boy.

If it were male there would be a bulge just after the cloaca. I cant tell in these pictures. Please take a closer picture of the cloaca. I would wait for some one more experienced to tell you. A better picture might help.

patrick that only works for veileds, panthers do not have nubs. Sorry

Panthers do not have the nubs, its the Veilds!!! Panthers you go by the vent area. It is hard to tell when they are young sometimes.

OOPS. See...Learned something new. Thanks. There is soooo much more to read and try to remember. I have been focusing on veiled info, as that is what I have. I'm glad that this forum is here.

This picture you can see the bulge after the cloaco in the tail.

This Chameleon has amazing colors by the way. Nice Carol. I wish my Panther did those colors.

If you do have a female, don't be surprised if you see pretty colors as well! They aren't as flashy as males but mine gets really bright peach or lots of tiny purple dots that give her a purple tone, or orange and black... so they aren't just drab little tan chameleons. I have pics of Azura on my profile if you want to go take a look

I was thinking that maybe the pet store was wrong about the age and that's why I can't tell the gender. He or she Is really small. Like half my finger from mouth to where the tail starts. How big should a '3 month old' be at ? Can anyone estimate? Thanks
And also, Azura is a very beautiful girl
