i was talking to somebody the other day telling them about my little pygym cham and they were thinking of getting into chams themselves..we started talking about the enclosures needed for chams etc and she asked a question i wasnt 100% sure on..are there any other chams besides pygmys that can be housed in a glass aquarium? they are thinking of getting a jacksons so they know they need a screened cage but i was just wondering the answer to that as well out of curiosity? thanks in advance

I've been keeping chameleons such as veileds, dwarf jacksons, panthers, fischers, etc. in glass cages with screen lids or glass cages with screen lids and doors. The veiled females generally live to be over 6 years old. I live in Canada though...and whether they should be used depends on where you live.

BTW...I have kept pygmies in the cages with the screen lids and doors too.
