Well, I went in to check on the babies and mist/feed them again today, and I couldn't find the first hatchling. Baby number one fell into the groove of the bin and passed away.
She was the weakest and smallest out of the clutch. I tried getting her to open her eyes, and she did once, but never opened them again. Jann suggested giving her some natural UVB, but it has been in the mid 60's outside lately, up until this week when it gets back up to the 80's..
All I have to say is that she was my first ever hatchling and I will forever miss you, my off green little booger.
Just wasn't meant to live outside of the egg.
This was my first ever loss of a chameleon in my life.. I'm not taking it too terribly hard, but it's not that easy. These little green ones grow on you..
