grasshopper rearing

So I'm going to begin rearing some grasshoppers soon. From what I've researched i need to provide them sand for laying eggs.

I have a few questions about the process though.

Right now my grasshoppers are in a glass aquarium with a screen lid. I'm going to guess that the baby grasshoppers that hatch will be able to escape If i let them hatch in that enclosure.

What kind of enclosure can i use for hatching the grasshopper eggs?

I have roughly 16-20 grasshoppers, how long should i leave the sand in the main enclosure if i want a large amount of babies but don't want to risk them hatching in the original enclosure.

I am going to attempt this as well, I don't think the little hoppers climb glass, but if they do, you could add a piece of sheer material to the top and put the cover over it.
A few questions:

1) where do you live
2) what will you feed them?
3) What temperatures are you running?

You know what, you gave me a great idea.

They actually can climb glass verryyy well.

I'm feeding them lettuce and pesticide-free grass, i also give them some flukers cricket feed which they barley touch.

Temperatures reach a high of about 78-82f with the use of a small clamping desk lamp.

I think I'll just cover the top screen lid with a sheet of aluminum and pierce very tiny holes for air. That should keep the baby grasshoppers in there.

I'm only worried about opening the lid to feed the grasshoppers, as they may just fly out.

Ive thought of doing this as well but had the impresion that it takes many months to hatch them anyone know what hatching time frame is??
