grasshoppers

there great feeders, some may advise to rip off the large hind legs so that they dont thrash your cham while hes eating.

I remove the hind jumping legs of large grasshoppers, to avoid any chance of mouth injury. My kingworms then eat those legs, so nothing is wasted :)
If you are feeding wild caught insects fequently, be sure to remember to have a fecal test done once a year or so, just in case they pick up a parasite. Cant hurt to do this even if you're not feeding wild caught bugs! I think the benefit of the variety, and potentially nuritional benefits, outweights the chance of parasites? I wonder if a person of more experience with such could please chime in?
