I agree she is showing her gravid collars. She will probably get a little more plump before she lays them though. When she starts getting all restless going to the bottom, and sometimes they slow down on eating, or even stop right before they start digging. She starts digging give her as much privacy as possible. Good luck.

I disagree, she looks receptive to me and a little heavy. When she darkens up a bit, and quits flashing those bright colors, then you'll have about a month before she ready to lay eggs.

So can I move her out of the laying bin??
Good morning @AaronHines keep her bin in there . She probably got a bit to go . I'm as well waiting for my girl to lay . She came into her big girl colors dec 9th . Over the last few days she's very dark . Do you know when she came into her new colors ? Also you can start weighting her that will also indicate getting closer .

You can keep remove her from the bin although I would suggest weighing her every 4 or 5 days and recording the weights so you can know when she is starting to rapidly gain and is ready to lay.

My girl has never showed those colors when gravid. That's actually the gravid coloration they show when they are being approached by a male. If no male is present they don't show those colors. They will get darker
Different veild has different shades of darkness, that pic I post is from the forum resources pic,a gravid female will not be as bright as the op pic showing,it will be at least darker grayish color.
