Oh yeah she definitely has eggs! She is huge and showing her receptive colors.

Does she still look gravid? She has stopped going to the bottom of her cage.

It's hard to say for sure. I would just be prepared at all times. I recommend keeping a laying bin in the enclosure at all times after they reach 5 months old. I'm attaching a few links below that you might find useful.

Thanks. I have 2 lay boxes in her cage plus there is 2 potted plants. I checked everything tonight and she hasn't laid any eggs. There is times that she still looks that way then times she doesn't. LOL

Is she still showing me with these colors that she is still gravid. She still looks big in these that I took this morning. We looked in everything last night and didn't find no eggs.

Just feel her belly, you should easily be able to feel the eggs.

I tried that this weekend but really didn't feel anything. I just thought with the blue dots that it meant she was gravid. Sorry for all the stupid questions but this is my first being gravid.

If you're worried and can't/don#t know how to feel for eggs, I would take her to the vet for an x-ray. I just did that with Yuki, my own veiled, because she very often looked like yours is now.

Needless to say, she was not gravid.

Your chameleon, from the pictures, looks exactly how Yuki is when annoyed with me. No annoyed colours, but puffed up and just angry. She too was venturing to the bottom of her vivarium for a couple of weeks for no apparent reason and suddenly stopped one day. I think that had to do with the weather getting warmer and have since changed her winter sunning bulb with her spring/fall sunning bulb. I am going to go on a whim and guess that she is not gravid but rather full of hot air and pointed in your direction! I could be wrong though, so I do suggest a vet visit if no one can give you an absolute yes.

Obviously you should ALWAYS have a laying bin, just in case! Hopefully this was at least a bit helpful for you

Ok Thanks. We put a male in with her but I am almost positive they didn't do anything. Yes she was pissed at me for getting in her cage and taking her picture. Like you said yours did she did that for about 2 weeks then just stopped. She may just be a little fatty.

She looks like my little lady when she's not gravid.
When mine is gravid, she looks like a balloon that's about to burst. Once she starts hanging around the bottom of her cage, I take her out and put her in a laying bin that has a sheet around it so no one can look into the bin so she has privacy...then after an hour or so, I'll peek through the sheet to see if she's digging. If she's not digging, I put her back in her cage, if she is, then I check on her every other hour until she lays. Downfall though is that she prefers to start digging in the afternoon/evening time and won't lay until the wee hours of the morning...so I'm up all night checking on her and misting occasionally.

Well she wasn't gravid so last night our daughters boyfriend brought his male over and we put them together and he finally did it. She got so pretty when they where done.
