Greenhouse?

I've been planning on building some sort of greenhouse for my veiled chameleon. I was just wondering if its possible to get a chameleon outside year-round when temps outside can drop to 15F? How do I heat it? Is best best to just be something I keep him in during the summer? Is it possible that in something so big (somewhere in the range of 8x6) that he wouldn't be able to find food? I've found this really interesting and since I want to give all my animals the best home possible it would be a really great thing to have :).

Hi, i used to keep, in the past, my chameleon in a greenhouse (3 lm X 5 lm - H 4 m). I started with the veiled. It's the easier one. Because, no issue with low temperature during winter. In Yemen, it could be the case. And no issue with high temperature with this species. They can be found around 40/45° C. But if you need to heat, i suggest you to install something buy the floor, ULTRA VITALUX for the UVA & B and for a heating point.

Thanks a lot ! I will check to find the pictures to share about reproduction of Parsonii Inside this location, was amazing.

Well, i used to keep parso and pardalis, lateralis together and to swtich during with trioceros for half of year. Male parso likes to be with pardalis in general.

Your welcome FREDCO. My 5 year plan is to have something like your greenhouse, and to have a breeding pair of parsons. So we can keep 2 different species together with enough space? That's awesome.

Well, i will pay attention to what i say, because there is "sniper" here... :)
Parsoni+pardalis from the right location, it works. But,( because we can say something like the only way to do) one male of each, and a small test is mandatory, each animal is different. After, you need a complete reproduction of an area, i mean, humide area, shadow, sun in another etc... To be honest it's really much more difficult in my case than with a "terrarium" with one cham in one enclosure. But it's fantastic when you reach a small piece of forest with the perfect condition. But, same, female has to be separate at the right moment.

Thanks for the advice. Like I said, it's my five year plan. Fully intend to TRY to recreate thier habitat, though I my come in to problem in winter but hopefully by then it will be figured out. If not my chams will have one hell of a getawayfor most of the year. Haha
