Can chameleons eat these butterfly's? I have one and its a caterpillar now

If these are the Orange with sliver dotted wings butterfly, probably no. They feed on passion fruit plants that are toxic. Leave a bad taste in birds mouth. What are you feeding the caterpillar?

I did a quick search, and.....The larva feed exclusively on various species of passionflower such as maypop (Passiflora incarnata), the yellow passionflower (P. lutea) and running pop (P. foetida).
Their toxic flesh provides gulf fritillary caterpillars with excellent protection from predators.
Toxins stay within the butterfly too.

Under side of wings have the sliver eyes or dots. Different parts of the country have slight variations.
