Gutloading

I just wanted to get some new ideas on what to gutload my Nosy Faly Panther Chameleon. What do you guys think is the most nutritional gutload for Chams or what do you use?

I use all of the organic produce that is in excess for feeding my beardie. I also use Repashy bug burger that I’ve added bees pollen and a bit of spirulina to.

For my reptile I like to have a nutritious maintenance diet then a gutload.

I use Mazuri guinea pig diet mixed with a 400 IU vitamin E tablet. This is used as a substrate for my mealworms and superworms and I mix in a little bit of bee pollen for the dubia roaches and crickets.

For gutloading I either use Mazuri Better Bug or Repashy Superload for 48 hours.

I’m currently experimenting with a fruit and vegetable mix but I might just go back to serving sweet potato.

Do you use the Repashy superload every feeding?
Or unless you mean it’s what I use every time I gutload. I use Mazuri Better Bug for my crickets, roaches, and superworms but when dealing with hornworms and mealworms I use the Repashy Superload dry or gel form. Better Bug tends to kill mealworms, probably because of the fats clogging their system since they like to burrow into it.

I meant do you use it every gutload and can you use the Repashy superload on any bugs?

There are some bugs that can’t be easily gutloaded because of their anatomy but other than that you can feed Superload to any feeder insect. Silkworms may need it to have some mulberry chow on it though.
