HALOGEN BULB

I've just bought a new Arcadia halogen bulb. Unfortunately, its too heavy and is pulling the glue of the glass! Is it ok to rest it sitting on the wire mesh roof?

What do you mean its too heavy and pulling the glue of the glass? Shouldnt all lights be suspended or placed on top of the cage through the screen top?

Exo Terra are glued at the side and suspended over the mesh.

Did you read i bought the xl large reptibreeze cage? Just using my glass vivarium for a couple of months, whilst i purchase all the necessary bits and pieces of decor, plants, vines etc.

Honestly just put Figaro in the reptibreeze. He will get extremely stressed in the little exo terra. Im sure you can sell the little exo terra for at least half price surely

Humidity at 61% this afternoon. I'm buying mesh to cover an open door. Mind you Nathan, i opened the door wide and it went UP by 1% in around ten mins!

Did you receive the photo?

Out of interest, i assume there's no point in leaving a water bowl in the tank? I'll have to keep a tight watch on misting too, as it'll only increase the humidity.

Didn't see your other thread. Do you know now what i mean about the glued strips? I've added a little extra down the sides to the bracket. Failing that, I'll just use a much lighter bulb. The Arcadia one, is very weighty!

This happened to me as well with the dome light fixture and stick on extender I had, when I had a glass enclosure. There isn't much you can do except reattach using the current adhesive after cleaning the glass or replace the adhesive. I just reattached after cleaning and it stuck. Since your cham is younger and you have a smaller enclosure, you probably wouldn't want to put the light directly on the screen.
