i posted yesterday about my new cham. and someone mentioned him hanging from the top. he did that yesterday for a short time, but got down pretty quick.
however now today again he is hanging from the top. so i shut it off for the tie being.
in that other post someone said that he wasn't suppose to but would be ok?
do i need to raise it up? if so how high up? what does this mean if he is hanging upsdie down under the light?

how long has it been since he arrived?
generally, baby cham loves to hang upside down (especially during acclimation period).
took 2 weeks for my chameleon to stop hanging upside down.

he is 16 weeks he got here yesterday at 9:30ish am it is now 4:20 pm.
he is in a 100 gallon reptarium
all the temps are ok. i only ask b/c in my other post"should i be worried?" it was mentioned he shouldn't be on the top.
so it is ok that he is hanging from the top? can i put the 10 reptic sun back on top of the cage,or will he get burned?
thanks

That was me about hanging from the top. They seem to do that at first. My suggestion was to raise the Reptisun 10.0 a few inches from the top. You can do this by placing a wooden block (or anything else that will work) under each end of the fixture. It surely doesn't hurt him to hang, it just might if he is right under that 10.0.
