Hi, this is my first time posting. I just recieved my new 4 month blue bar ambanja two days ago. He's still adapting to his new surroundings and I'm trying to get the temps just right, but he seems happy. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for an everday safe reptile cleaner. Just something to spray the bottom out and the plant pots etc? Right now im just using a dripper and hand spraying but would like to get a misting system set up. I have read so much about having problems with this system and that system, is there a decently priced system that works well? Thanks for your responses. I will get some pics up within the next few days.

Welcome :)

Welcome to the group! Congrats on your new boy too. Please do post pictures of him and your cage setup when you can. For total cage cleaning I use a bleach/water/dish soap solution. I take the whole thing, including the plants outside to do this. For a quick clean up of poop on the bottom I just use a damp paper towel with a little antibacterial soap on it. I'm not big into buying fancy cleaners.

If I was you I would stick with hand misting for a couple of months. Once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. A simple plastic spray bottle works well. Use this hand misting as a way to observe and learn about your new cham. This will also give you time to figure out what kind, if any, sort of misting system would work for you. I would concentrate, for now, on making sure the other cage features, like plants and lighting, are correct. You have plenty of time to spend $$$ on misting systems! Once again, WELCOME! I'd love to see pictures of your boy :)
