Harry Lauder's Walking Stick

Ive looked on several "safe plants lists" and can not find if The contorted hazelnut tree (Corylus avellana "Contorta") -- sometimes called Harry Lauder's walking stick is safe for my chameleon or not.

It seems like an ideal plant to have in a Viv with all its small branches going in every direction.

Thanks in Advanced

Looks like the nuts aren't edible, but from looking around online and finding a fish forum, seems like the branches would be okay to use in your cage.

I found a few anecdotal stories of people with birds who would chew on the branches, and their birds did not seem to have any issue.

So a tentative yes? Probably okay?
