has anyone bred mt merus

i have a female mt meru jackson and she has been healthy for a few months. unfortunately the male came in unhealthy and died shortly after. I read that they are difficult to breed but i was thinking of getting another male and giving it a shot. Any opinions?

Yeah I started with a pair of Meru. You should certainly breed them. Did they mate at all before the male died?

If you have interest in breeding merus then get another male! The only extra challenge with baby merus is their size. I also think we tend to baby our babies and not allow them the temperature drop at night their bodies may expect. Give it another shot.
