Has anyone else noticed that a schefflera has a smell?

This one does but I only noticed it when I got really close. It smells of a strong greenery smell. Maybe that’s because it’s a plant, but I never noticed it before. It has been washed with dawn and water very well and rinsed very well.

I know what you are talking about. Not necessarily like fresh cut grass, but similar. Like plants or greenery like you said. Not a bad smell.

My wife asked me why I was smelling my schefflera. I said Lindasjackson said hers had a scent. It does indeed have scent. Wife wants to know who Lindasjackson is now

Yup I’ve always noticed this too, especially if you snap a branch or something. They smell very juicy

yes! I had to trim mine down because it was too tall for the cage and that’s when the odor was the strongest. It’s not a bad smell but I just didn’t expect it!

Yeah I like the smell, as mentioned above it’s like a weird version of cut grass.
