So today I decided to take Hawk outside to get some sun, and it was quite an outing. To start off I wanted to put him onto some uprooted Gardenia's that were placed in a large trash can filled with rain water. But instead of climbing onto the branches and going to the tip top like a good cham, he decides to rush to the bottom as fast as he can, and "SPLASH" into the water he goes...completely submerged. At that moment I was just like, "Ahhhh what are you doing"!? He was just so overwhelmed by being outside that he cluelessly fell right in. And it just happened so fast that I couldn't save the poor guy from dunking himself. So after I scooped him up and stopped him from flailing his arms aimlessly into the air as if to say, "help me!!!", I decided that this probably wasn't the best place for him to be, so I took him over to large Orange Tree that has yet to bloom this year. And what does he do when I put him at the top? Climbs all the way to the bottom and hunkers down in a tray holding holding another plant, and hides in the corner for several minutes. Poor guy is not having a good day at all at this point so in a last ditch effort to get him to enjoy his outside time, I scoop him up and walk him over to a large, bare, grapevine setup at the front of my property. And finally, finally he settles down and stays put, but he would for no reason stop puffing and firing up. And I mean he was huge! Well enough of me rambling; let's get to the pics. I would have to say that this is the best that I have seen so far:
Him in my hand to give you a general idea of his size. Look at all that orange
And another...
In the grape vines...
Posing for the camera...
And some close ups...
Hope everyone enjoys the pictures, and the story as well
