My new baby veiled chameleon, Axel, is just so adorable! Ive been very careful not to stress him, but Ive recently started taking him out of his cage every once in a while to hold him and see how hes doing (any abnormalities in his scales, bumps or torn claws. The works) He actually seems pretty comfortable with being held as long as I'm very careful not to move suddenly and give him a finger to rap his little tail around.
Well, today I ask my husband to take a picture of he and I together for my facebook page (no flash, of course) and when I raised him up next to my cheek he immediately took off climbing up my hair and perched right on top of my head! lol It was so cute!
I was curious if any of your chameleons did this, if it was kind of normal or if he just likes playing his little "head games"
((I bet Ill have at least one comment about how its best not to hold him, I realize this, but I have extremely poor vision and I just cant see him well enough to be sure hes healthy while hes inside the cage. just clearing that up!))
