@Gingero
I am very happy to announce that Gingero (Neptune the Chameleon) is the latest recipient of the Heart Award at Chameleon Forums. Gingero joined the forums in 2018 where she quickly became an active and well-respected member of the community. Over the years she has dedicated a great deal of time to helping chameleons and developing educational resources for their owners. Her contributions to both the forum community and the overall chameleon community have been significant. Many people know her for the very successful YouTube channel she developed, Neptune the Chameleon.

The Chameleon Heart Award is an acknowledgment of those individuals that have greatly contributed to the community. Some recipients have developed resources that over time will reach thousands of people and their chameleons. Some have worked very hard to maintain the forums and keep a friendly environment for both new and long term members. Others have for years improved discussions with their experience and knowledge, sacrificing their time to help chameleons and their owners. Some have done all of the above. All recipients of the Heart Award have made a significant and positive influence at Chameleon Forums.

There are many people who sacrifice their time to help other members and the community is a much better place because of it. There are also members that add a great deal of knowledge and experience to the table, and they make Chameleon Forums a better resource for everyone. All of these people truly deserve recognition and we are going to try harder in the future to recognize more of them. However, in order to maintain the significance of this specific award it will continue to be given annually.

Congratulations @Gingero!!! your Chanel has helped so many people with the care for chameleons, you have made a HUGE difference in this community and so many chameleons are thriving thanks to you! I'm so greatful to have learned from your Chanel, and love listening to your podcast!! I can't wait to see all the other care videos you'll make this year

Congratulations 🥳So much deserved you have help myself and so many others and will continue to for years to come with all you have created!💚 I am grateful to you!

I'm literally tearing up reading this 💚

Thank you for the nomination and award — it is truly so special to be apart of this community. The amount of love and time we pour into helping chameleons and keepers alike is so incredibly rewarding. Not everyone understands why we do what we do, until they experience the magic of chameleon eating from your hand for the first time, or a keeper saying their chameleon is alive thanks to you.

Who knew picking out a little baby panther from my local reptile shop would turn into something so amazing. Thank you to this entire community for your support, especially with the recent passing of Neptune. I look forward to continuing to share my passion for these amazing animals and helping fellow keepers.
