what heat temperature should be available for a 2 month old veiled chameleon? how hot should the basking spot be?

2 month is very young i wouldnt go above 80 at the warmest spot with some good places to hide

80 is good ,aslong as he can go lower to a cooler spot,pluss veiled like alot of heat anyways,they come from saudia arabia area so they like it hot. if u realy feel concerned they sell a cheap digital thermostat controller for heatmats for plants .same used for reptiles just more expensive because its for hobby.its 27$ u set it to wat temp u want it has a probe u put inside cage and it will tell u actual temp and temp u have it set to.check out greencoast they have them cheap.
