Hey everybody. I want to start out by saying thanks to all of you who have inadvertently given me killer info about chams and keeping them happy and healthy. I have been "lurking" around these forums for a few days now as I contemplated purchasing a baby female panther from Screameleons and have read some awesome posts and blogs! So, I pulled the trigger this morning and couldn't be more excited. :D I am 25, live in Ft. Collins, CO and am a pre-vet student here at CSU. I have kept various types of herps for most of my life but never a chameleon. I work and study a lot but really enjoy fly-fishing and rock climbing when I get the chance to sneak out, as well as hanging with my other scaly family members. I look forward to being a part of this community and getting to know some of you better. Anyone in northern Colorado (or anywhere for that matter) please feel free to PM me. Cheers!

Hi there and welcome to our merry band of nuts. Well i am a nut, guess I shouldn't talk for the others. We are happy you joined and that you are getting your first cham. We can walk you past everything you will need. Ask all the questions you have or tell us what you have planned and at least half a dozen people will have input.:)

Welcome to the forums. glad to hear you are joining the wonderfull world of chams. be sure to post some pics of your new lil one when they arrive.
also we love to see your other pets :)

Hello and welcome to the forum, definitely the best place for anyone who wants to alleviate the worry of getting a first Cham........be warned though, they are more addictive than anything you've kept before and you'll have to decide if you are a 'nut' or just 'eccentric' :D

Thanks everyone:D. This is hands-down the friendliest forum I have ever cruised. And I love me some forums (climbing, fly-fishing, red-tail boas,). My cham arrives this weekend, I hope. I will not make it through the weekend if I have to wait until monday, I will probably go crazy from anticipation.
