Hello, Help with chameleon always dark?

Hello im new here A month ago I bought a little 2 month old chameleon and after a couple of weeks He was still very aggressive and my brother asked for him and i let him take him, then I went to a pet shop and there was a lovely little 7 week old guy scratching at the glass and i went back about 5 times too see him and 3 days ago i couldn't resist buying him, hes lovely , he comes over when you go near his viv & hasn't hissed or puffed up at anyone, but theres something wrong, whenever he is in his viv he is dark green/brown, but soon as you put youre finger in and he comes out he goes light green, everytime i saw him in the petshop viv he was light green, hes got the same setup as the aggressive chameleon, He has the correct temperatures, lots of climbing & hiding places and eats & drinks fine, so im a little confused, can anyone help me out?? thanks

That happened to me before when my chameleon was in a small enclosure. How large is it? Can you please post some photos?

Plz fill out the above form, and post picture. What exactly are your temps? Typically dark colors indicate stress or being too cold.
