Usually the best trick to getting a chameleon to open his mouth is to put a finger on each cheek from behind his head. This usually makes them gape, since they don't like it. (Almost like I'm doing in the photo below.)

Make sure to put the syringe far back into the mouth, as chameleons don't have their airway where we do. So put it far back so you don't get any in his airways by accident.

Olimpia, thank-you for posting that!
I have wondered if I'm being cruel when I do this, but my chams open up very quickly and it is the fastest method from start to finish.

You're welcome!
In this photo I was trying to take photos of his mouth for a vet so I actually have him picked up like this (like you would a parakeet) but essentially you can do something similar to get them to gape. It's the only time I ever approach them from above, so they don't hate me for it lol. But it usually works the fastest and lets you be done and over with it in seconds.

So i weighted me veiled chameleon
And he weighs 175 grams.. Does anyonr has a
Meth how i can calculate how many of the medicine i need
To give??

Check out this thread https://www.chameleonforums.com/toltrazuril-coccidia-99397/. What strength are you using? if it is 50mg/l you will use .09ml for your cham!

Whoa. Let's get the concentration from the OP first before determining appropriate dose because not all drugs are the same concentration and the one you posted is much different from the other threads you linked to (50mg/L very different than 50g/mL!).

OP - please tell us what the concentration of the toltrazuril is.

Perfect. Then your dose at 5mg/kg for a solution 25mg/ml would be 0.03ml, which is the same dose your vet recommended at 0.2ml/kg.

Take home lesson: Never assume drug concentration because that is how disasters happen.
