I bought a fruit fly culture from my local pet store. Tonight my two dogs got a hold of the 32 oz culture. I can't figure out what exactly is in it. So does any one know if there's anything toxic in it? Thanks

Depends on the culture media used. There are many brands and homemade ones also. Should be a no though. Dog stomachs are usually pretty tough. Expect some loose stools for a day or two.

Not knowing exactly what they use I can't be certain, however my husband makes his own, and it's totally safe for dogs. Actually it doesn't even smell that bad when he's cooking it up. He uses mashed potato flakes, cinnamon, and a few other things. Good luck!
