help! male veiled opens mouth

my 4month old male veiled opens his mouth while sitting under a basking light. the temperature around the cage is at 29C and the basking spot is at 32C. his cage is a 24x24x48 screen cage with uvb 5.0 bulb and a basking light on top. is it too hot for him? or is it because of indigestion? i noticed lately his poop was smaller than the usual size. i feed him crickets and superworms. mist 3 to 4 times a day
