Help me fix this

I have wooden cage, with front mesh dors and some airholes on back side wall. I have "carpet on the sides but crix like to hide on the top. See in pics.

I already tried to to seal with absorbent cotton, but my Veiled was eating it, so I removed it.

What do you think how could I seal that so crix won't hide in there? My cham doesn't like cup-feeding because he doesn't eat them in cup but as soon as I release them from cup, he hunts them down.

You can just get rid of the carpte all together. I'm not quite sure how european keepers do things (in terms of caging since it's quite different here in North America), but I would think that the carpet thing isn't that healthy for the cham.

This is carpet from coconut fibres and doesn't harm him. He has good grip and likes climbing up and down, thats why I won't remove it.

Umm.. and glue doesn't work too, It can't stick together carpet with wood.

Any other suggestions?

PINKi: Are you sure coconut fibre is good? Many Czech chameleons died after eating this crap, because it can stay inside of them and never get out :-( Give it away! What´s wrong about having only wood in there? Just buy him more branches and lianas to climb. This carpet is really horrible idea.
