Help me sex my baby Veiled Chameleon

Recently, I adopted my first chameleon. It is a (what I am assuming to be) baby, and I rescued him/her from a local pet store where my cousin works. He/she is in good condition, but was living in an enclosure much to small and was not for sale due to some abrasions on his/her front arms. My cousin told me about him/her, and that is why I was able to adopt this gorgeous young veiled chameleon. However, I do not know the gender, and would like an answer from a more experienced enthusiast. Also, if I could get an age estimation, that would be great too! Here are some pictures, a penny is used in one as a constant size comparison.

Thanks!!!

My guess is about 2 months old and looks like a male. Males have spurs on their back heels which I can see in the first pic. But better pictures of the back legs would help a little more

Thank you. I was thinking male as well, but I am not sure. He's a bit anxious right now as he's still adjusting, so it's hard to get a good look at his hind legs....under stress, his color darkens and i can then see bands of color. I'll try and get a better look while he's resting tonight, but for now I'm going to refer to it as "he".

Best I can do, without disturbing the little guy. Looks like he's settling down to sleep.

good luck ! all ive owned so far are females and it is a pain !
Yup. My original plan was to order from a private breeder so I could get a defined gender, but I just couldn't help myself when I saw this poor little guy in a glass tank the size you'd use for a baby gecko :( The abrasions on his arms appear to me to be burns....poor little guy probably scorched himself in there. I really hate the way these pet stores treat chameleons, they don't seem to understand that theyre fragile living creatures that require space and diligent care. Just felt the need to rant about that.
