Help! my Little female laid a clutch of eggs but the incubator isn't arrived yet. what i can do?she laid eggs tonight when i was at work and the eggs are still in the soil, the room temperature is 80,6.
i dont want to lose eggs but is sunday and i cant buy vermiculite.
how much time the eggs can stay in the soil?
i have order the rcom r60 but it isn't arrived yet can i wait till arrive?
i haven't find review of this incubator is it good for chameleons? first i want to buy the reptibator but it's very large so i go to this one.

just make sure the soil doesn't get too wet, then it's alright.
i have left my eggs in the soil once for more than 36 hours because i was working late overnights, and out of the eight eggs, only one is spoilt. it will be another eight months before i know if they will hatch.

in nature, eggs are left in the soil all the time, and they hatch. problem is humidity and temperature. if it gets too wet, the eggs will spoil. too dry, they will too, but slower.

and remember not to turn the eggs when you remove them, there's a little air-bubble in each egg, if you turn the eggs, you would spoil them. also try not to touch them with your bare hands as the grease from your fingers may reduce breathability of the eggs.

leave them until your stuff comes. She laid them in a spot that she believes has the right conditions for them to hatch.

correction about my earlier point of not turning or rotating the eggs when you remove them. at this stage, the eggs have not developed yet, so there's no air bubbles in them yet. but make sure you don't turn the eggs at the later stages.
