Help Needed: Fumigation and Chameleon Safety Measures

Hi everyone,

If they fumigated my room and I have a chameleon, what measures should I take? I took him out for the 2 hours they advised and covered his terrarium as best as I could, taping the ventilation and placing two towels over the mesh top. Should I still clean the leaves and everything inside the terrarium? Also, I'm worried about the plants in my room because I often let him walk among them.

Does anyone have recommendations or know what steps I should take to ensure my chameleon’s safety? Are there any specific cleaning solutions I should use?

Thanks in advance for your help

I would take the plants outside and spray/wash them with water mixed with Dawn dish detergent. Rinse well. I would spray the enclosure with plain water before I returned the chameleon. The ultimate clean would be to take the entire enclosure outside and spray everything with water and Dawn. Rinse well.
