Help needed no experience and needing to provide care

So college students with a Chameleon went out of town for a few days and are now iced out in another state leaving my daughter to provide care for their Chameleon. They did not leave much food indicating they would get more when they returned. She was fine feeding it for the agreed upon time but now she is under a winter storm warning and no access to a pet store. We are researching trying to be responsible and see we need to know the type of chameleon to know what food options are. The owners only feed crickets and a type of worms. This is a picture if you can help identify the type and give guidance on food options. She has access tocarrots, apples, spinach and broccoli but no crickets or worms.

It's a veiled chameleon. They are insectivores...but in a pinch you can give it some greens and veggies, if he will take them, rather than have it have nothing to eat. You can use dandelion greens, kale, collards, squash, sweet potato, zucchini, sweet red pepper and a very very small amount of apples, pears, berries, melon. Best if you don't have to do this though. Hope this helps!
