Help Needed!!

Well, as luck would have it, I will probably be going down to Daytona to help out with USARK (no booth this year for me). This is spur of the moment and my normal reptile sitter is on vacation that weekend. Here's what I need:

Someone to take care of my reptiles (including the new melleri babies!!! :D) on Friday night (8/19), Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There really isn't too much involved. You can even stay at the house if you want (Bolingbrook, IL) and eat all my food. I would normally pay my regular sitter nearly $150 for this timeframe and service and what I would be offering you is one of the melleri babies ($300 value).

Please PM me if you are interested.

Thanks!!

LOL just checked on plane tickets but it's too short of notice and the tickets are too expensive ... It would be fun :D

how many reptiles do you have?

if all else fails for you....im 3 hours south from you in indiana. ill meet you half way! bring your reptiles down to me and ill gladly sit for you. if i have enough cages you will only have to bring your reptiles!

not sure how many chams you have but i have two 3x3x6' screen cages, one 18"x30"x4' screen cage and a 12x12x24" screen cage ready..

also have various size aquariums empty. from 75g's to 10g's :)

Well to start with Julie has about 40 baby mellers, her monitor, her chams, her geckos, and the list goes on. Sure you don't want to go to her place?

hahaha, that aint nothin :) i seriously have enough cages to suit her needs.

the perk of owning a petstore :)

:D i would love the chance to be able to care for some healthy melleri! i dont know what thats like....i get them with broken limbs, worn off horns, dehydrated, malnourished, full of parasites, fungus, you name it they have had it!

Oooohhhh, Laurie, that baby party is sounding better and better!! The more babies, the better!! :D

@ataraxia: Do you have a 8' long x 6' tall x 4.5' deep enclosure for my argus monitors? I am saying that with a slight bit of sarcasm since one is 5' long and one is 4' long and most people don't have that kind of enclosure - that's what they would need. As for chams, geckos (mostly uroplatus) and bearded dragons, I think I have WAY more than most people (mostly chams) and thus, it would take me several trips to get them to you and that's why I just have someone come to the house.

Bump!

Bumpin' it along!! I am still in need. Please help!!! I have things in my home that can make it worth your while!! :D

Found some assistance!! - Thanks Ethan!! :D:D:D

Yay! If I still lived in Michigan I think I would have readily made the four hour drive, but NE is a mite further... (btw, going to have any of those melleri, or your verrucosus at the Omaha show?)

Good luck finding a sitter, cant wait to finally meet you!

Hey, come find me. I will be a busy bee all day Saturday at the USARK booth. Look forward to seeing you! :D

Thanks! Not sure if I'll be at the Omaha show. I love going there for it and I always do well there, but it's just such a far drive and I have to rent a bigger vehicle to get everything there. I'll see, but more than likely I won't be there. Sorry about that! :(
