Okay, we just noticed that our Jackson is bleeding out of his rectum! He seems to be eating and drinking fine. He gets around his cage fine as well. This is our first Jackson so we dont know a LOT about them. Since we got him, he has had a buldge at his rectum and didnt really think anything was out of the urdanary. It "looked" fine and assumed it was normal. Now, we just noticed it was irratated and bleeding! He sits on the same basking branch and it now has some blood on it.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening or what is going on? The locals vets does not see any reps so we need some help from our forum freinds!

You need a vet immediately. Is the bulge proximal or distal to the vent?(is it on the side of the vent with the body, or tail?)

Can you post a picture?

Im sorry he is not well :(

You might need to call around to other vets. Check to see if there is a Herpetological Society in your area and if so, maybe they can recommend someone.
