Hello all, just wondering if anybody with experience of sexing panthers this young, could have a guess at what this little cutie might be, please? This one is believed to be about 4-6 weeks old. Thank you!

It’s hard to say from how young it is but I would say female! There’s no bump on the tail that I can see.

As you can see in the two photos the make has a bump and the females tail is mostly straight.

Thanks also QuinnieLeeBlu. The breeder has said if ‘he’ turns out to be a ‘she’, they’ll let me move my deposit onto a future baby.

I’m also gonna say male. It’s very hard to tell at this age, but the base of the tail looks pretty thick and females this age usually have a thinner base. At this age most males don’t have a bump at the base of the tail yet, the base is just thicker. Sometimes you can tell this young and other times it’s extremely hard and you have to wait till they get to about 3 months old

Hi Gingero, I don’t have him/ her yet, just the pics & was trying to get a heads up on what others thought he/she might be. Once I get my baby home I’ll be sure to go through this...the breeder has been a source of invaluable advice, on top of everything else I’ve been avidly reading.
