Help required on injured Yemen

Hi guys,

I hope your ok and thanks for your time. I have a yemen cham who is very active and around 2 years old. Healthwise he is fine and lives in a nice 4ft high viv with lots of vine, wooden branches bark, plants etc.

However i have just noticed that it looks like he has injured himself, on his side near his spine he has basically scraped the skin and its bleeding ( albeit dried now). I just wanted advice on whet do do. Whether to clean it up and how best to treat it as i do not want him getting infected or anything.

Yes, I would clean it up and apply some Silvadene cream or if you can't get that some Zymox. I would keep a close eye on it....it could get infected and a vet visit be required. A picture would be helpful.

Another topical antibiotic that's easy to find is Polysporin.
