Help with Lightss

Hi this is my first post on the forums.

But anyways, I'm getting a new vieled chameleon and I need help with the lights. Like what kind of lights I need to get, linear UVB, basking, etc. Sorry if I'm annoying. Appreciate it

You will need a UVb light, I prefer linear, and a basking light. You can use a regular house bulb for the basking light. Most people use 40-60 watt bulbs for basking. No lights at night.

Lights can hurt there eyes when they are sleeping.a ten degree drop is fine at night.if its too cold you could use a ceramic heat emitter.or I use a heat mat placed close to the sleeping spot

They can be ok at 55f. I have a ceramic on a thermostat that will kick in if temp drops below 60 f. They need a temp drop to slow down their metabolism in order to sleep, just like humans. Chams have a third eye on the top of their head which detects light which may disturb their 12 hr sleep. Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy it here.
