-They will all eat, just have food for them inside the tank.
-You will see lots of little roaches
-Thats what I use
-??? I keep them in the reptile room where it is 30-50%
-Roach gut load or any sort of greens
-Shoot me a mail so I dont forget and I will take some pics for you

Give them some time. I purchased 50+ from the same place about 3-4 weeks ago. I am just now seeing babies! (I think the gestation period is about 25 days (?))

I use a heat pad (for people) and it keeps my plastic tub around 85 degrees F at the bottom. Use some egg/roach crates to give some elevation to create a heat gradient.

I use water crystals for their hydration (although they can get a lot of that from the veg/fruit you feed them.)

I don't really measure the temp but it should be warm to the touch on the bottom of the cage. I don't know that there is a heating pad hot nough to melt your plastic but if it does its way too hot.

Thank you wont the mat melt plastic though and what brand and watt are u using

The temp at the very bottom of my plastic tub is around 85 degrees F using a normal heating pad that is made for people. Not sure what the wattage is or name brand but it has a low-med-hi setting.

where did u get it at? brand???

I can't remember . . . probably some place like Walgreens or Walmart. Eventually I will get a reptile heat pad and thermostat but this is working now.

Also, remember not to feed them all off before your colony gets established. Luckily there is a local store that sells them so I have been able to add a few dozen every week so I can feed more now.
