Help!!!

I was doing school on my floor when I heard an odd crunching sound from my chameleons cage and saw her eating something white from the live plant. There is some skin that she she'd down there but like what if it it's those white things in the soil? I replanted the plant in Oraganic soil so is it all good?

Are there little white stones in the soil that crumble if you pinch them? That is vermiculite and if you have that in the plant I would cover the soil with larger river rocks so that she can't get to it. If you heard crunching she should be OK- I am always having to pull sticks out of my panthers mouth when he is outside and he is fine afterwards. I would watch her just to make sure.

Yeah that's the stuff but it said organic soil. Like river pebbles? So she'll probably be fine?

I use the decorative river rocks you can buy at Wal Mart for $1-$2 a bag in the craft section. They need to be big enough that your cham can't lift them if they shoot their tongue at the plant. About the size of an Oreo. :)
And yes, if she ate one piece of vermiculite she should be OK. Spank her little bottom and say "Bad girl!" Kidding on that...
